We have arranged a site tour at Bay Center Foods on Wednesday, May 6th, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. This visit provides a valuable opportunity for students to explore the practical implementation of control systems within a real-world manufacturing environment.

During the tour, participants will observe how automation, industrial control systems (ICS), and operational technologies (OT) are used to monitor and optimize production processes. The experience will highlight the integration of sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and supervisory systems that ensure efficiency, safety, and product quality. Students will also gain exposure to how cybersecurity considerations are applied in modern industrial settings.

This tour is especially beneficial for those interested in mechatronics, automation, and cybersecurity, offering a direct connection between classroom concepts and industry practices.
