Course Description
This course provides the fundamental concept of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems and their basic terminology and components. SCADA systems are found wherever processes are being run with large amounts of data to be monitored or remote equipment is being operated at unmanned facilities. Therefore, any engineer has the potential to interface with a SCADA system. In this course, you will learn about the SCADA software called Ignition which can be downloaded for free from the Ignition website and can be used for a trial period of 2 hours which can be reset and used again.
